IT'S TIME TO GET YOUR MOTHEREFFING GAME ON
[ WHO WANTS TO PLAY A CHILDREN'S CARD GAME?
BECAUSE GUESS WHAT TIME IT IS.
IT'S TIME
TO DUEL!
also you should take your anti-keet-poisoning pills, just saying. ]

lmao if i knew season two, jaden would have actually met aliens before
What's an Andalite? I've never heard of something like that before. [ Embarrassed grin and scratching behind head. ]
You don't know dueling? Well, it's... it's... when you play Duel Monsters. [ Jaden does not compute this non-knowledge of the game upon which the entire stability of the world as he knows it is based 8| ] Like, you know, with your deck, and this!
[ POP ZOOM WHOOSH HIS DUEL DISK ASSEMBLES ON HIS ARM AND LOOKS LIKE THIS:

< Ah, well, I am not surprised that you have not heard of my species. I am not exactly from around here. > [Here being, y'know, Earth.]
[And now he is just STARING AT YOU WHAT.]
< That... is not dueling. Dueling is a structured battle in which you engage in comparable combat. Such as with tail blades. > [He flicks his tail for added emphasis.] < What do cards have to do with that? >
[... Headtilt.] < Are those tarot cards? >

[ Here, Elfangor, he will pull a couple of cards out of his deck for you to see. ] See, this here is Winged Kuriboh. He may not have a lot of attack points, but he makes up for it with heart! And if you play him the right way, he can be one of the most powerful monsters in the game!

[It is actually insulting for someone as skilled in tail-fighting as Elfangor to be challenged to a duel that is not physically challenging in the slightest.
And so he feels inclined to show just what he thinks of this card dueling nonsense. With a thwack, his tail blade cracks the air as it moves to within a hair's breadth of slicing that particular card in half. (The only thing stopping him from actually doing so being that it would be akin to, well, stealing candy from a child, or so he suspects.)]
< I seriously doubt that any amount off "power" your card has within the parameters of your game stands a chance against physical threats. >

You... you didn't have to do that. I just thought maybe you'd like to play, I mean, even if you hadn't before. You could have just said no.
