Dueling is structured! And you do compete! [ FIERY SPIRIIIIIT YOU CAN SEE IT IN HOW EXCITED HE IS ] It's like a battle between two souls! Your cards and theirs! How would you do that with... tails? I don't even have a tail.

[ Here, Elfangor, he will pull a couple of cards out of his deck for you to see. ] See, this here is Winged Kuriboh. He may not have a lot of attack points, but he makes up for it with heart! And if you play him the right way, he can be one of the most powerful monsters in the game!

[It is actually insulting for someone as skilled in tail-fighting as Elfangor to be challenged to a duel that is not physically challenging in the slightest.

And so he feels inclined to show just what he thinks of this card dueling nonsense. With a thwack, his tail blade cracks the air as it moves to within a hair's breadth of slicing that particular card in half. (The only thing stopping him from actually doing so being that it would be akin to, well, stealing candy from a child, or so he suspects.)]
