[ Myde's open admittance of cowardice is enough to convince Lea that he isn't that much different as a person than he was as a Nobody; regardless of his reasons (and he probably has lots, because everyone has reasons) he'd still flee before he took a stand, and that's the thing that counts.

(Then again, coward is better than murderer any day of the week, and for all that Myde is and Demyx was a coward, he had fewer motivations not to betray the Organization than Axel did, and yet he stayed. And yet he's not the one who murdered two members and shut his eyes willfully to the rot in their midst.)


Myde makes the tourist remark just as one of the barkeeps comes over with Lea's drinks, and Lea is left smiling awkwardly and trying to subtly encourage the server to grab a tip out of Lea's wallet, which is on top of his clothes in a folded pile in the corner. This goes about as well as you'd expect, and in the end, Lea just ends up nearly sinking into the hot tub, until he hears Jumba and Pleakley, and suddenly wonders why one of those names sounds so familiar. ]
